Quality Microneedling and Exosome Treatments

Improve your skin's overall appearance with help from the medical professionals at Ledo Aesthetics. We specialize in microneedling and exosome services that can help with a variety of cosmetic imperfections, such as fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, stretch marks, and more.

Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that involves using a small device with tiny needles to create microchannels on the surface of the skin. These microchannels stimulate the body's natural healing response and can improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and other skin imperfections. Microneedling can also enhance the absorption of topical skincare products, making them more effective.

Exosomes are small, membrane-bound vesicles that are produced by cells in the body. They contain a variety of biomolecules, including proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids, and can play a role in intercellular communication. In recent years, exosomes have gained attention in the field of regenerative medicine due to their potential therapeutic properties. Exosomes derived from stem cells have been shown to have anti-inflammatory and regenerative effects on damaged tissues.

In the context of cosmetic procedures, exosomes are sometimes used in combination with microneedling to enhance the skin's rejuvenation process. Exosomes can be applied topically to the skin after microneedling to deliver growth factors and other bioactive molecules directly to the cells in the treated area. This can enhance the skin's natural healing process and improve its overall appearance.

At Ledo Aesthetics, we have over 20 years of clinical experience you can trust. We take a personalized approach to aesthetics and will customize treatment options based on you and your preferences. Our main goal is to help you feel more comfortable in your skin.

Conditions Treated by Microneedling

  • Fine lines and wrinkles: Microneedling can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by stimulating collagen production, which improves skin texture and elasticity.
  • Acne scars: Microneedling can help reduce the appearance of acne scars by breaking up scar tissue and promoting collagen production.
  • Hyperpigmentation: Microneedling can help improve the appearance of hyperpigmentation by increasing cell turnover and promoting the growth of new, healthy skin cells.
  • Stretch marks: Microneedling can help reduce the appearance of stretch marks by breaking up scar tissue and promoting collagen production.
  • Large pores: Microneedling can help reduce the appearance of large pores by stimulating collagen production, which can help tighten and plump the skin.
  • Uneven skin tone and texture: Microneedling can help improve the appearance of uneven skin tone and texture by promoting collagen production and increasing cell turnover.

The Ideal Candidate for Microneedling

The ideal candidate for microneedling and exosomes would be someone who is looking to improve the appearance of their skin, particularly those with fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and sun damage. It may also be beneficial for those with hyperpigmentation or uneven skin tone.

This procedure is also proven to benefit candidates with mild to moderate hair loss. Delivering exosomes via microneedling channels stimulates dormant or damaged hair follicles and promotes healthy hair growth.

It is important to note that microneedling and exosomes are not recommended for individuals with active skin infections, open wounds, or a history of keloid scarring. Additionally, it may not be suitable for individuals with certain medical conditions or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Microneedling Recovery and Aftercare

  • Direct sun exposure should be avoided for at least 24 hours after the procedure. The skin will be sensitive, and sun exposure can cause further damage and delay the healing process. If you must go out, use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 and wear a hat.
  • For the first few days after microneedling, use a gentle cleanser to wash your face. Avoid harsh scrubs, exfoliants, and acids, as they can irritate the skin.
  • Keep your skin moisturized to prevent dryness and flakiness. Use a gentle, hydrating moisturizer, and avoid products that contain fragrances, alcohol, or other harsh ingredients.
  • Avoid wearing makeup for at least 24 hours after microneedling. Makeup can clog the pores and irritate the skin, which can lead to further damage.
  • Avoid touching your face with your hands, as this can introduce bacteria into the pores and cause infections.
  • Hot showers can be drying and irritating to the skin. Take lukewarm showers for the first few days after microneedling.
  • Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated and promote healing.
