  • Where are you located?

If you're looking for med spas in New Jersey, you're in the right place. Ledo Aesthetics is located at 345 Old Hook Road, Westwood, NJ.

  • What are your hours of operation?

Like many local med spas, our hours of operation are Monday through Friday 10:00 AM — 6:00 PM. We are also available on select Saturdays by appointment only. Call (201) 249-6540 to schedule your appointment.

  • What kind of services do you provide?

As one of the most popular medical spas around, we are always expanding our services. Currently, we offer:

    • Botox
    • Dermal fillers
    • Biostimulators like Sculptra and Radiesse
    • Skin boosters
    • Mesotherapy
    • Profhilo
    • Microneedling with skin boosters
    • Kybella
    • PRP hair restoration
    • Weight loss services
    • IV hydration/vitamin therapy
  • How will I know what kind of services I will need?

Unlike other medical spas, we ensure our services are personalized to you as we understand that no two people are alike. We offer full, in-depth consultations with our board-certified clinician in order to determine the best treatment plan for you and to ensure your results are aligned with your expectations. You will fill out an assessment form and then a skin analysis will be done to determine the treatment program best suited for your needs.

  • What should I do before my appointment?

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to allow time for any preparation and paperwork to be done beforehand. If you are coming in for a treatment or consultation for facial services, please arrive without makeup if possible.

If you are receiving an injectable treatment and are on blood thinners including Aspirin, Plavix, Warfarin, Advil, Motrin, vitamin E, Omega 3, Gingko biloba, or St. John's Wort, please consult your physician or call our office. We will review your medications and provide advice on whether you should discontinue these temporarily prior to your procedure.

Avoid alcoholic beverages at least 24 hours prior to receiving injectable or microneedling treatments at medical spas.

  • What is the difference between Botox and dermal fillers?

Although they're both injectable treatments that address some of the same issues, Botox and facial fillers work in different ways. Botox works to relax facial muscles that if left untreated will lead to wrinkle formation due to repetitive facial movements over time. By relaxing facial muscles, you can achieve youthful and wrinkle-free facial features. Both treatment options are highly popular at most medical spas.

Fillers inject a naturally found hyaluronic acid substance under the skin in order to add fullness and “fill” wrinkles and creases to eliminate skin sagging and loss of volume.

Botox is by far one of our more affordable and popular selections, with prices starting at $12 per unit and lasting for up to four to six months before you need a refresher. According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, patients received 8,736,591 Botox injections in 2022 alone. Whether you want to try Botox, dermal fillers, or both, give us a call.

  • How is Sculptra different from dermal fillers?

Sculptra is different from other dermal fillers in a couple of ways. First, its main active ingredient is poly-l-lactic acid (PLLA) rather than hyaluronic acid. Although hyaluronic acid may also promote collagen production, PLLA is a clinically proven collagen stimulator recommended by many med spas. Second, Sculptra can last up to two years, whereas dermal fillers like Juvederm or Restylane last for about one year.

  • Can I combine Botox and dermal filler treatments on the same day?

Yes, you can combine Botox with dermal fillers. Botox prevents wrinkles from forming, while fillers can help smooth the wrinkles you have and restore facial volume. Medical spas have found that Botox and fillers together improve anti-aging results.

  • What are the prices for specific procedures?

When you compare the cost of long-term treatments to the ongoing price of serums and creams that provide temporary results (if they work at all), the cost of services offered by med spas is a better investment.

The ultimate cost depends on several factors, including:

    • Your age and the extent of the problem
    • The amount and type of treatment
    • Whether it's the first procedure or a refill

Initial consultations and two-week follow-ups are free.

  • How do I know that I will be treated by a qualified professional?

As one of the most highly recommended medical spas around, we're proud of our qualified staff. The injectables are done by our board-certified physician assistant, Angela Musheyev. She is an expert in her field and has received her certifications in the art and science of botulinum toxin cosmetic use injections, the art of dermal filler injections, emerging therapies in regenerative aesthetic medicine, and the science of skin rejuvenation. She has trained under expert injectors who have been in the field for over 20 years, including world-renowned Dr. Arthur Swift and Professor Sebastian Cotofano. She brings her expertise from working as an ER clinician for over 20 years and working in NYC in the field of aesthetics for the last five years.
